2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 2019 launched in AIMExpo Las Vegas

The Kawasaki ZX-6R has officially launched in AIMExpo Las Vegas after years of rumors of its emergence. The new facelift and re-configured component bike is expected to replace the current model which has been on the road for almost 5 years.

This Kawasaki ZX-6R 2019 uses the aluminum perimeter frame pressed by the engine. Its manufacturer claims it is flat and solid, uses the Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Forks – Big Piston) fork that combines SFF and BPF fork features.

This new model comes with the same 636cc engine but with improvement of tuning to comply with Euro4 standards without compromising engine performance. It also comes with styling changed to look more neat and aggressive (according to Kawasaki’s words), as well as new additions to its specifications sheet such as LED lighting and more. The amount of power and torque output however has not been disclosed.

Some highlights of the specification are; Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) is equipped as standard, only to switch to higher gear, new styling with double headlights and LED back lamps, the “high grade” instrumentation though its design is similar to all new Kawasaki motorcycles, including the Versys-X model, engine tuning that complies with Euro4 emission standards and gear ratio is optimized to boost low level power.
